Mayor of Bournemouth Easter Show 2009
Sound Solution (Dorset) members took part in the Mayor of Bournemouth’s Easter show in the town square. Our volunteers and learners took to the stage to play their music and to showcase the workshops. This was a good opportunity for Sound Solution to promote the project and distribute flyers for the workshops – and have some FUN!
Boscombe Community Fair
In September 2009 Sound Solution (Dorset) joined the festivities at the Boscombe Community Fair in Kings Park. We showcased our musical skills in the ‘Sound Solution’ tent and networked local people and organisations who were interested in joining our workshops. Our members were also invited to take part in the music line up and play tunes in the acoustic tent.
Christmas ‘Extravaganza’
Sound Solution (Dorset) took part in the annual Christmas event at the Bourne Spring Centre. Local people were invited to watch performances put on by the community groups who use the centre. Sound Solution volunteers and learners performed a few musical numbers on the stage which were very well received by the audience.
